P1 Grades release (tentative date Oct 12)
Grades release
Your P1 grades and your HTML exercise grades have been returned to you. Some notes:
P1 grades
If you have questions or concerns with your grades please review the project rubric, review any comments left with your submission, and then email Alissa to arrange a time to meet and discuss your grades for the project. Mehdi will be unable to respond to questions about grades.
HTML exercise
Regardless of what grade you receive, please review the comments provided in response to your submission on Canvas as there may be recommendations on improving your HTML.
If you received a zero and an indication that it appears that undeclared resources were used, please follow up and email Alissa to discuss the submission as it may be that you already have an understanding beyond what we expect of students in the course and we just need to discuss the questions that came up for us to ensure everything is understood.
Code tutorial recording
The CSS tutorial recording has been available for a couple days, but I figured it best to include it below as well.
A reminder that if you have questions about why we did things a certain way in the tutorial that there is a 'completed' tutorial explanation available in the listing of code tutorial materials as well as linked on Canvas.
Should you have questions not answered by the code tutorial, I recommend using the 'Tech Support' channel on Discord or taking a look at additional HTML explanations put together in response to common student questions.
In-class activity questions
Thank-you for all your questions related to HTML that came up in the in-class activity. As some of these questions are not addressed by the existing collection of answers to HTML questions I will put together some materials to try and provide further support before our next class. Expect an announcement early next week with further details.
Questions or concerns?
Of course should you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to email Alissa, email Mehdi or message over the course chat and we will respond as quickly as possible.
